Dialog iQ – Setting up the device

Learning objectives​

  •  What displays, buttons and indicator lights does the device ave and what are they for?
  • Where is the power connection located and how is the device connected to the power supply?
  • How can the battery charge level be checked?
  • What other connections are required for commissioning?

Take home messages

  • Front of the device: All important buttons and indicator lights to the right of the touchscreen display: ON/OFF button, battery charge indicator, display lock button and alarm mute button. Next to it a rotary wheel for changing ventilation parameters.
  • Left side of the device: Power connection (red dots on the cable and device indicate correct connection) and oxygen connection.
  • Battery charge indicator: To the right of the display or at the top right of the display when it is switched on.
  • Right side of the device: Pressure measurement line, flow sensor, ventilation tube
