Fracto Field · Device service

After the training, the care begins.

Your devices sit at your customers' sites, and each one needs inspections, maintenance and sometimes quick help. Fracto Field keeps every device, every job and every service contract in one place, all the way to the invoice.

A service technician in an orange work jacket kneels beside a medical device on a ward and takes a measurement with a handheld tester

The device is delivered. The work has just begun.

Between commissioning and the end of a service contract lie years. Over that time, what you know about a device ends up spread across spreadsheets, inboxes and a few people's heads.

01Starting pointEvery device has due dates.Electrical safety and metrological checks, maintenance to the manufacturer's schedule. The dates often live in a spreadsheet one person keeps.
02ChallengeFaults arrive by email. To different addresses, often without a serial number, and nobody can see who is on it.
03ProblemThe contract runs, the usage is unclear. How much of the service contract is used up only becomes clear when someone works it out.
04ConsequenceMoney is left on the table.Service reports get retyped, jobs outside the contract slip through, invoices go out weeks later.

One device, its whole life at the customer, in one place.

From commissioning through training and every inspection to the invoice. Training comes from Fracto's training platform, everything after it from Fracto Field.

01 · Devices

Every device knows where it is.

All devices at all customers in one list, with the fields you need. When someone calls, you see at once what last happened to the device.

Device types with your own fields.

Serial number, status, customer and project, plus your own fields such as location, device class or the next safety check. A saved view shows everything due in the next 60 days.

  • Your own device types with their own fields and statuses
  • Every device is linked to customer, project and tasks
  • Saved views with filters on any field

02 · Inspections

Due inspections become tasks.

Before a deadline passes, the inspection is already planned, with device, customer and due date.

An automation, described in plain language.

It runs every month. Under “What to do” you write what needs doing: an agent finds the devices whose inspection is coming up and creates the tasks. Every run has an agent log. You decide what the agent may do.

  • Daily, weekly, monthly, cron, or when an object is created
  • Test run and runs with agent log
  • Permissions per agent, switched off in one click

03 · Faults

The report lands on the right device.

Faults keep arriving by email, nobody has to change habits. Every email becomes a task in the same plan as the inspections.

The email becomes a task with device, customer and contract.

Google, Microsoft 365 or IMAP. The device is attached to the task as an object, and an agent pulls together its history. The reply to the ward goes back from the same inbox with “Send via helpdesk”.

  • Connect an inbox, tasks appear on their own
  • Faults and inspections in one plan
  • Billed against the contract's support allowance

Training comes from Fracto. So does the care.

Training and service from one source, with one contact.

04 · Service contracts

The contract shows what is used.

Service contracts as a support allowance or a subscription. For each period you see what is used, what is planned and what is still free.

Hours, period, carry-over.

An allowance has hours, a price and a frequency. Unused hours can carry over to the next period. Every task shows whether it runs against the allowance and which invoice it ended up on.

  • Several allowances per project, monthly to yearly
  • Subscriptions for fixed maintenance fees
  • Detailed breakdown per period and task

05 · Billing

The job becomes the invoice, without retyping.

Invoicing collects what is due: allowance fees, subscriptions, time outside the contract, one-off projects such as a commissioning. The invoice goes out as an e-invoice in ZUGFeRD or XRechnung format.

Two products that fit together.
