Three problems with training
Laurin named three problems: outdated teaching methods, training that is hard to access despite high demand, and technology that develops quickly.

The program included mentoring sessions. In Shanghai Laurin also met companies that distribute medical technology.
More trips to China
From Shanghai Laurin travelled on to Hong Kong. He returned to China several times: in April 2025, in November 2025 for the CIIE import expo in Shanghai, and in June 2026.
